Kevin is an artist who has always embraced the possibility of working in a wide variety of media: Photography, video, film, text, sound and object-making.

His recent works have placed specific emphasis on exploring the roles language and/or non-literal communication play in our understanding of the ‘sense’ of a person, action or place within and across cultures.

His interest in the sciences arises from a general interest in human 'creativity.' Although we talk of the Sciences and the Arts as specific disciplines, both involve the development of ideas through a creative process. A common element he wishes to explore.

The web is the perfect medium to give voice to this exploration.

Kevin McCourt was born in Glasgow, Scotland, 1964 and completed a Masters Degree in Fine Art (M.F.A.) at the Glasgow School of Art in 1995. His work has been exhibited internationally in both solo and group shows.
